Parkinson’s. Road cyclists have a choice
of three rides, with the Metric Century (recommended for the experienced rider comfortable with hill climbs) covering over 4,800 feet of vertical gain. This ride is quickly
gaining a reputation as not only a ride of stunning beauty, but a test of
endurance, ability and strength.
Enjoy some of Chester County's most beautiful scenery!
PD500 Made the list! Active.com writes,
"you'd be nuts to let fall pass you by without getting in a good ride"
"8 Fall Metric Century Rides"
in the country!
CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE:
THE 16 MILER
This ride has rolling hills and crosses over a quaint covered bridge. Don't let the distance fool you, this can be a challenging ride with over 900 feet of vertical climbs. One water stop is provided

THE MEGA-METRIC CENTURY
The biggest challenge of them all offers the experienced hill-seeking riders a combination of picturesque pastures, hills and valleys. Challenge yourself with a few of Chester County's finest hills like Pumpkin Hill Road, Country Park Road, Coventryville Road, and the Nantmeal wall. While you are at it, visit Wyebrook Farm for your first rest stop and see one of Chester County's premier agribusinesses. Your second rest stop will take you to the one of Northern Chester County's scenic parks. Then continue on through the quaint village of St. Peter. Take some time to walk the boulders or cool off in the stream. Jump back on your bike and head back to the Ludwig's Corner Horse Show but remember you have to climb the Nantmeal wall after you roll through the sleepy town of Nantmeal. Can you handle over 4,800 feet of vertical climbs? Then this ride was made for you!

We love volunteers! They are needed to help with the check-in at the start of each ride, distribute food, drinks, cheering at each rest stop plus the end of the ride, and celebrate every moment along the way. We also need volunteers with trucks to aid cyclists along the route and motorcyclists to monitor the ride and help in a variety of ways. And we need photographers! If you would like to become a volunteer, please click on the link above and fill out the form and our volunteer coordinator will contact you shortly to discuss your level of interest so that the best possible fit may be made. Thank you for your support!
